This is the page where I thank all the people who make “The Rerack” possible.
If I left anyone out, just let me know and you’ll swiftly be included.
That said, I am deeply indebted (non-exclusively) to all of the following people:
- Steve Niezgoda, for playing the character of Colin “Big Hugs Big Chugs”; probably half the strips in the comic spring from conversations we have throughout the day.
- Chris Dettman, for playing the character of Trevor and giving me ideas for more than a few strips.
- Jon Jurdi, who has provided the inspiration for more than a few strips and will soon receive a character of his own… ooooh, stay tuned!
- Rob Dettman, who has provided the inspiration for a few strips.
- Emily Turner, for providing feedback and making sure the poor internet-less Rob D is able to read each day’s strip.
- Kimmy, for being the best little sister in the world, and telling all her friends to read The Rerack.
- JoAnna, who actually takes reading The Rerack so seriously that she tells people not to disturb her while catching up on strips.
- The Reddit community, for upvoting my links, and providing a news- and commentary-rich environment from which I am able to draw inspiration for many strips.
- Buffalo, for being the greatest city on earth. Other cities might be bigger, or richer, or warmer, but we’ve got at least the following two things going for us:
- The Buffalo Sabres. The greatest non-Gretzky-affiliated, non-1980-US-Olympics team to ever grace the ice.
- We deep fry everything and know enough to serve it with Bleu Cheese for dipping. (Ranch is a pale imitation)
- Sobe No Fear and Diet Coke. Red Bull is for mainstream people who haven’t yet informed their taste buds that there are other energy drinks out there that taste WAY better.
- Whoppers, for being the best candy ever. Seriously, folks! Fucking malted milk balls! It doesn’t get much better!
- And even my ex Jessy, who, though we have long since parted ways, had long conversed with me in discussions filled with so much random information that I can’t help but have drawn inspiration for a few strips from them.
